Where We Fly

High Road Balloons are based in the North Cotswolds, on the Warwickshire Gloucestershire border, and fly hot air balloons in the West Midlands from Warwickshire and Worcestershire. Our launch sites are in the historic towns of Shipston-on-Stour, Stratford-Upon-Avon and Worcester. We only select the most prestigous and scenic launch sites. The direction we travel depends on the wind direction on the day, so each flight is completely different however on average a balloon will travel about ten miles during a flight.

Shipston-on-Stour, Warwickshire

We launch from the pretty little town of Shipston-on-Stour near Stratford-upon-Avon. Shipston is an old market town nestled in the very south of Warwickshire.

Stratford-Upon-Avon, Warwickshire

We launch from the racecourse in the qauint market town of Stratford-Upon-Avon, birthplace of poet and playwright William Shakespeare. Stratford-Upon-Avon is a perfect place to begin on your balloon journey.

Worcester, Worcestershire

We launch from Worcester Racecourse, also known as Pitchcoft, in the city centre. A Traditional and very active racecourse dating back to 1700 located on the River Severn.
